I’m mixed on things like this. I admire the guy’s ability to dream big, and to actually try to do something about it. I often worry that if I were to do my own project, it’d end up something like this - with the best of intent, but perhaps lacking in execution.

I love custom tube frame fiberglass kits and home builds but as soon as you try to replicate a supercar it ruins it. It’s never going to look good enough to be convincing so why bother? I’d rather see something original.

I think there’s a distinct advantage of doing something original - there’s no point of comparison. No one can tell you it looks wrong because it isn’t supposed to look like something that already exists.
